As part of its deep commitment to the Boca Raton community, Saltability is now the proud sponsor of a youth soccer team in Delray Beach, coached by the company’s very own resident soccer pro.
The AC Delray Rush Soccer Club’s Boys 2009 team, comprised of 11- and 12-year-olds, plays in the U13 division of the Florida State Premier League. Coached by Saltability warehouse manager Luca Lagana, the team is part of the EDP Elite Development Program.
Born and raised in Biella, Italy, Luca has been playing soccer since he was 6 years old. At 15, he turned professional, playing for five years in Italian pro soccer leagues until an injury ended his career. He began coaching U14 youth soccer in Italy and brought his love of “the beautiful game” with him when he moved to Florida. He holds a USSF C license from the U.S. Soccer Federation. Luca joined Saltability in February 2021.
AC Delray Rush Soccer Club offers both recreational and competitive youth soccer programs to boys and girls in the local area, fostering an environment of sportsmanship and creativity — qualities that Saltability holds in great esteem as well. The AC Delray 2021 fall soccer season runs through Dec. 18.
